SS Rajamouli has seemingly left no stone unturned to make RRR an international film in terms of scale and scope. It looks like the cinematic event to kickstart the new year.
The trailer for the highly anticipated SS Rajamouli costumed action film, RRR, was unveiled today. This is Rajamouli’s first film after his hit Baahubali film series, so the enthusiasm for RRR is high. He’s known for his big screen shows, and this movie looks no different. It seems Rajamouli has spared no effort to make RRR an international film in terms of size and scope. It looks like the movie event to kick off the new year. The film, written by KV Vijayendra Prasad, stars Jr NTR, Ram Charan, Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, Olivia Morris, Ray Stevenson and Alison Doody.RRR tells a fictional story inspired by Telugu freedom fighters Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem. While Ram Charan will be seen in the role of Sitarama, Jr NTR sage Komaram in RRR. After skipping its theatrical release several times due to the pandemic, the film, funded by DVV Danayya of DVV Entertainments, is finally set to hit screens around the world on January 7, just a week before the Sankranti Festival. The film will meet with several other notable box office hits including Radhe Shyam by Prabhas and Gangubai Kathiyawadi by Alia Bhatt.
