Gone are the days of designers unveiling collections online, due to the two-year pandemic. Now is the time to secure your spot, as the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) in partnership with Lakmé Fashion Week (jointly organized by Lakmé and RISE Worldwide) is coming to Delhi. Dhyan Chand National Stadium, FDCI x Lakmé Fashion Week will be a seasonfluid edition, keeping safety measures in mind.

With some of the biggest names in the industry coming to the roster, this event will be completely physical and unlike any other fashion week. While the Manish Malhotra brand will launch a new category, DIFFUSE (ease of sewing), FDCI will present a khadi curation composed of French-Malian designer Mossi Traoré and Indian designers Abhishek Gupta Benares, Anavila, Anju Modi, Charu Parashar and Rina Dhaka. There will also be a key showcase during Sustainable Fashion Day by Rajesh Pratap Singh, Payal Pratap, Nitin Bal Chauhan, Divyam Mehta and Ka-Sha.

Sunil Sethi, President of the FDCI, comments: “This edition is extremely special because we are coming back completely physically after two years of adapting to the digital environment. Audiences can expect the best from creators and talent, with intense and energetic programming.

The goal has always been to combine the latest innovations in beauty and fashion, and to provide the customer with an unforgettable experience.

And that’s what this edition will bring to the table.” And, Jaspreet Chandok, Head of RISE Fashion and Lifestyle, shares, “As we return to an all-court format, we look forward to bringing a number of fantastic collaborations with top brands and designer labels.

The line-up will begin with an opening parade on March 22, while the grand finale will take place on March 27. Are you excited to start your fashion journey all over again with a physical event?
